Upon receipt of your application, we will send out our Uniform Franchising Offering Circular (UFOC) to those applicants who qualify. Upon receipt of the UFOC, fill out Item 23 of UFOC (Receipt) and mail back to Jungle Java. Our Development Manager will then contact you to address any questions you may have. 
Jungle Java is committed to assisting our franchisees in every phase of their business start-up. In addition, we offer continued support and training through marketing assistance, accounting consultation, and various other programs designed to help you get the most out of your business. Specifically related to your start-up, Jungle Java will assist you in: Financing Jungle Java has relationships with numerous financial institutions that specialize in obtaining financing for franchise operations. Site Selection Great locations are not always easy to find. Making site selection especially tricky, Jungle Java has some very specific building features that are required in order to ensure the best chance for success for your Jungle Java franchise. We will work with you and put you in touch with our highly experienced commercial real estate agents to find the most desirable location in your area. In addition, we will assist you every step of the way in your site survey, lease negotiations, build-out, and any other issues concerning your specific location. Equipment Each franchisee will be given our Jungle Java Operations Manual, and we will walk you through every piece of equipment you will need to make your business a success. Through years of growing relationships with multiple vendors, we have been able to identify not only the most efficient and sensible vendors to spend your money with, but also those vendors who offer customer friendly support after your purchases. Comprehensive Training Program Jungle Java offers classroom training as well as hands-on training in one of our corporate stores so that you are ready to do business the first day you open your doors. In addition, we will be with you in your store to help make your opening as successful as possible. Ongoing Support Our support to you does not end once your store is opened. Jungle Java corporate will offer ongoing support as needed to help motivate, encourage, and ensure the best chance for success of your Jungle Java franchise. We think Customer Service defines who we are, whether it’s making sure someone has a great experience in one of our stores or making sure that our partners have the best chance to succeed in business. We offer assistance in all areas of our business to our franchisees so that we can assure our partners that they will be able to offer a great experience to their customers. 
Q: Is it necessary to have previous retail or business experience to own a Jungle Java? A: No. But a friendly, outgoing personality is a big plus. Some previous business experience and a willingness to have fun are recommended, but not required. Q: Does Jungle Java provide financing? A: Not directly. However, we have several institutions that already know our business well that work with our franchisees to provide financing. Jungle Java will, however, provide you with a business plan. Q: Will Jungle Java assist me in site selection and lease negotiations? A: Jungle Java works with highly experienced commercial real estate agents to find the most desirable location in your area. We will also assist you with lease negotiations by both personally reviewing your lease and by providing you with qualified professionals who specialize in negotiating commercial real estate leases. Q: Will I receive the proper training to run my store? A: Yes. All franchise owners must attend and successfully complete the training program provided by Jungle Java at one of our Michigan corporate locations. The cost of initial training is included in your franchise fee. Travel, food, and lodging are the responsibility of the franchisee. Owners and operating managers are required to attend training. Q: How much money can I make from a Jungle Java franchise? A: The Federal Trade Commission will not let us make any earnings claims to prospective franchisees. However, Jungle Java will provide you with previous earnings numbers from our corporate stores. Q: Does Jungle Java supply me with an accounting system, daily sales summary system, employee scheduling system, and inventory control system? A: Yes. Complete and easy-to-use accounting, daily sales summary, employee scheduling, and inventory control systems are provided in your Operations Manual. You will also be trained on their use. Q: What is the franchise fee for a single store? A: Our initial franchise fee is $35,000. Q: Are there any ongoing royalty fees paid to Jungle Java Corporate? A: Yes. There is a 6% royalty fee and each store will contribute an additional 2% to a shared marketing fund. Q: What is the average investment for a Jungle Java? A: Average investment is between $423,000 and $2,570,300 and varies depending on location, lease obligations, tenant improvements, and whether the real estate is purchased or leased.
